Dumfries

Dumfries, known in Scottish Gaelic as Dùn Phris, is a market town and former royal burgh in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, near the mouth of the River Nith on the Solway Firth. It’s the largest burgh in southwestern Scotland and serves as the main market and processing centre for an intensive livestock farming region.
